Proscenic Floobot X1 is a smart cleaning robot designed to simplify and improve the cleaning experience at home. It is one of the latest robots of the brand, and I have had the opportunity to test it for several days so that I can write this review that I leave here.
It is a multifunctional cleaning robot that vacuums and scrubs simultaneously, providing a complete cleaning solution. It features a 2.5-litre dust bag with antibacterial UV technology, and offers the ability to avoid bag replacement for at least a month. The robot cleaner is compatible with the most popular voice assistants, such as Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing easy hands-free control of its functions.

Proscenic is a relatively young brand in the home device market, with barely a decade of experience in the industry. Despite its short history, the company has managed to establish itself as a benchmark in the smart home appliance segment, offering high-quality, high-performance products at competitive prices. Proscenic has expanded its presence globally and currently operates in more than 60 countries and regions, with branches in Japan, Great Britain, Germany, France and Shenzhen, the “Silicon Valley” of China.
Design and physical characteristics
The analyzed cleaning robot, available on Amazon, has compact dimensions of 20 x 20 x 7 centimeters, which allows it to be easily adapted to different spaces in the home. Its weight is 9.21 kilograms, which makes it easy to handle and move during installation or maintenance. It doesn’t have that overhang like other robots, which makes it shorter and easier to get under cabinets and beds.
The design of the cleaning robot is elegant and modern, with a black color scheme that allows it to easily adapt to any style of decoration. Its rounded shape and low profile allow it to blend unobtrusively into the environment and to access hard-to-reach areas, such as under furniture and shelving. The robot has a charging station that also has a discreet and minimalist design, which makes it easy to place it in any corner of the home without clashing with the rest of the decoration. He doesn’t sing much, wow.
It comes equipped with various components and accessories that enhance its functionality and versatility. They stand out among them:
- Two drive wheels: These wheels allow the robot to overcome obstacles, such as carpets and small unevenness, providing better mobility on different surfaces.
- An omnidirectional wheel: This additional wheel improves the robot’s ability to turn and maneuver in tight spaces and around obstacles.
- Dust container with direct button for its extraction: The design of the dust container facilitates its extraction and emptying quickly and easily, avoiding the dispersion of dirt.
- 2.5-liter bag with antibacterial UV technology: The large-capacity bag and its UV technology guarantee the elimination of bacteria, allowing the robot to work for a month without having to change it.
- Cleaning pad and side brush: These accessories allow the robot to perform vacuuming and scrubbing functions simultaneously and efficiently, improving the quality of cleaning on different types of surfaces.
- HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter captures fine particles and allergens present in the air, providing a cleaner and healthier environment in the home.
- Charging base with ramp: The charging base includes a ramp that facilitates the access of the robot to charge and store the energy necessary to carry out its cleaning tasks.
- 250 milliliter water tank: The water tank allows the robot to perform scrubbing functions, improving the quality of cleaning on floors and hard surfaces.
- Remote control: The remote control allows you to operate the robot easily and comfortably, even when the mobile application presents problems or inconveniences.
Features and technology
The reviewed robot cleaner boasts multiple cleaning capabilities, including vacuuming and mopping. These functions can be performed simultaneously or independently, depending on the user’s needs. Vacuuming is efficient in picking up dust, dirt and pet hair, while scrubbing is suitable for removing stains and traces of spilled liquids. The device is capable of adapting to different types of surfaces, such as hard floors and carpets.
The robot incorporates antibacterial UV technology in the dust storage bag, which eliminates bacteria and maintains a more hygienic environment. This feature is especially useful in homes with allergy sufferers or pets.
The robot has a suction power of 3,000 Pa, which ensures efficient cleaning on various surfaces. Its side brush and the main one with rubber bristles, together with the HEPA filter, guarantee effective dirt collection, although I miss not having a second side brush. On the other hand, the Vibright high-frequency mop system reaches up to 3,000 vibrations per minute, which allows it to effectively remove stains and traces of liquids on hard floors.
It has 28 sensors that allow intelligent and precise navigation around the home, as shown in the video that I leave above. These sensors help the robot recognize obstacles, avoid stairs, and optimize its cleaning paths. The robot can store and remember maps of the areas it has cleaned, making it easy to customize cleaning from the mobile app. It also includes an ultrasonic carpet detector in vacuum mode, which automatically increases suction power and detects if the robot has come into contact with objects such as carpets.
performance and efficiency
The robot has been very useful on both hard floors and carpets, and is able to successfully navigate spaces with furniture, cables and other obstacles, without going around the same place twice and without getting too lost as it maps.
It is capable of preventing falls on stairs or unevenness, but they recommend putting stops, since if the floor is highly reflective, it can get messy and not detect the stairs correctly.
It manages to automatically return to its charging base optimally, I have no complaints about that either.
What I complain about is autonomy. While other robots can do the entire floor with a single charge, in this case it has not been possible. It was set to power 3 of 4, and had to go back to the charging station with 20% of a 70m2 floor still to go. It is certainly its weak point.
Connectivity and applications
The Proscenic Floobot X1 cleaning robot is designed to easily integrate with smart devices and voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This integration allows users to control the robot through voice commands, which makes it easier to use and improves the user experience when interacting with the device. In addition, by being connected to the home Wi-Fi network, the robot can receive software updates and performance improvements automatically (in fact, it updated the Firmware as soon as it was connected to the Wi-Fi).
The Proscenic mobile app, available for both iOS and Android devices, allows users to remotely control the Floobot X1 and access its various features. Among the main features of the application are the programming of cleaning times, the selection of cleaning modes, the configuration of power levels and the visualization of maps of the cleaned areas. The app also provides device status information such as battery level and filter status.
As an alternative solution to the mobile app, the Proscenic Floobot X1 includes a remote control that allows easy control of the device without relying on the app. The remote control offers basic functions such as selecting cleaning modes, programming schedules and activating or deactivating the device. Although it doesn’t provide the same level of control and customization as the mobile app, the remote control is a reliable and easy-to-use option for users who experience difficulties with the app.
Although in the app store several users complain about the app due to connectivity problems, in my case it connected the first time, I had no problem with it.
Price and value for money
The Proscenic Floobot X1 is priced at €499.99 on Amazon, which puts it in an advantageous price range compared to other high-end devices on the market. When comparing its features and functionality with those of its competitors, it can be seen that it offers excellent value for money, since this type of device easily exceeds 700 euros. Although its battery life is less than that of other competing models, its performance and cleaning efficiency are comparable.
When it comes to bag capacity, the Floobot X1 outperforms its competitors with a 2.5-liter bag, allowing for a month of use without worrying about changing it. In addition, its antibacterial UV technology adds additional value in terms of hygiene and maintenance.
